About Us

Over the past few years we have seen accelerated growth in our business, expanding from a regional based service provider to one that now has a number of service centres strategically placed to handle large volumes of recycled textiles and serve our customers needs across the UK.

ISO Accreditations

In order to manage this continued growth and achieve best business practice we have taken steps to adopted systems which are globally recognised quality and management standards, which will put LCRSL at the forefront of textile recycling. ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 accreditations ensure that we maintain our high standards of service and environmental responsibilities. The result; we are now better placed and able to service communities from Scotland to the south coast.

Vision and Mission

Although our business is multi faceted in many ways, at the centre of what we do is recycling – this is the thread which is woven through all that we do, it provides the foundation for our vision and mission;

          Our VISION is straightforward; ‘encourage and educate the greater
          society to ‘Think’ about recycling and the re-use of textiles’

          Our MISSION then become more attainable; ‘to make a difference
          so that everyone beenefits on a local, regional, national and global
          scale’.

The culmination of our thinking results in positive benefits for the world we live in both today and for future generations.

Collection Programmes

Although our doorstep collection service continues to be at the heart of our business, in recent times we have listened and responded to our donators needs by extending our collection programme.

This evolvement has lead us to work more closely with the business community by partnering corporations who put corporate social responsibility at the top of their agenda, here we are able to provide tailor made collection services on site for their employees.

Additionally we have formed links with a great number of charity shops and outlets in a bid to provide them with a waste management programme enabling them to ethically dispose of their surplus stock.

Closer to home, alongside our doorstep collections we have incorporated ‘clothing banks’ into our portfolio, providing the public with an easy, convenient alternative. Locally we have tailored our tried and tested ‘corporate’ model and been able to employ this programme to working with local schools, organisations and charities who have welcomed the opportunity to generate extra funds, whilst helping on an environmental level.
